Meet the Emcee
We’re thrilled to welcome 9NEWS Weekday Morning Anchor Jordan Chavez as this year’s emcee. Since joining the 9NEWS team in 2017, Jordan has brought his sharp reporting and warm presence to Colorado viewers.
Before that, he served as a weekend anchor and reporter at KAMR in Amarillo, Texas. His coverage has spanned significant political developments, breaking news, and nationally recognized stories, including a capital murder case and an active shooter incident at Walmart.
Meet the 2025 Community Impact Awardee
Alison George is the state director of housing serving the Colorado Division of Housing (DOH) in the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) since 2015, where she directs all DOH programs, ranging from statewide emergency rental assistance, housing voucher programs and manufactured housing code and mobile home park regulatory oversight, to Federal and State funding for constructing new affordable housing.
