Jul 19Mercy Housing Lakefront Resident Receives EPIC’s National Real Estate Practice Scholarship
We partnered with the National Real Estate Practice of EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants to provide students in need with this grant for their hard work and vision. This is the second year that EPIC’s National Real Estate Practice and Mercy Housing have partnered together to deliver this grant to low-income students in need. Fourteen students from across the country won. Starisha lives at Mercy Housing Lakefront’s Batavia Apartments in Batavia, IL.
“Mercy Housing has helped me get on my feet. I had to start over and lose everything, and living where I live now has helped me to get to where I need to be. If it wasn’t for Mercy Housing I would be a single mother out on the streets.”—Starisha, Batavia Apartments
The Kane County Chronicle covered the story, here’s the full article.
