Celebrating Berry Ranch

Late last year, ROSE Community Development Corporation and Mercy Housing Northwest celebrated the groundbreaking of Berry Ranch, their newest affordable housing community in the Portland Metro area.

When complete, Berry Ranch will feature a three-story U-shaped building with 50 affordable, energy-efficient homes set aside for families and individuals with disabilities. This will meet a critical need for more affordable housing in the Portland metro area. The community also includes a youth space for recreation and programming for teens.

In describing Berry Ranch, ROSE Community Development Co-Executive Director said that the community “Prioritizes families and people with disabilities and will provide dedicated spaces for community resilience and youth programming, which are essential to fostering a stronger and healthier neighborhood. Together with all our partners, we hope to make Berry Ranch a place where everyone can thrive.”

“We pride ourselves on developing strong partnerships. Expanding into the Oregon market, we look to well-established and strong organizations like ROSE Community Development. Their leadership in this space is unmatched. We are humbled to support this project with financial support, development services, and asset management.
